    CD Drive Accuracy 2026
    by Spoon
    Top Drives

AccurateRip collects data from all drives, normally this is only used to verify a disc is accurate, but can be reversed to calculate which drives are the most accurate (as measured by lowest % inaccurate tracks), on the basis that people who have a drive would have the same number...

Why does a disc rip accurately in one drive and fail in another?
    by ferrarabrainpan
I got a new Windows 11 desktop and set up CD Ripper for secure and accurate rips by determining the drive offset and copying all my settings from the old PC. FWIW, the drives are the same make and model, HL-DT-DT DVDR+/-RW GU90N, which is one of the drives marked [Purged] in the AccurateRip drive database....

    Are all settings automatically stored?
    by ferrarabrainpan
I got CD Ripper set up and verified for AccurateRip, copied over all the secure rip and ID tag and other settings from CD Ripper on my old computer, and did some test rips. I come back to it today and find most of my settings had been cleared and returned to default, including burst ripping, all my...

multi-core dsp effect not working on Reference release 16.6
    by insession
I have dBpoweramp Reference R16.6 (Single PC), multi-core dsp effect does not work. Only encodes with one core, I then manually have to check all 12 cores while it encodes, then it uses all 12 cores. Any help? Thanks!

Is there such a thing as a perfect drive by specs to use with CD Ripper?
    by Sonicmixmaster
I have several old and not so old drives here at home. I collected them over the years from junk computers or ones that were given to me. What would be the perfect drive for CD ripping? Can someone give some examples or maybe a certain manufacturer, features or settings?
