Adding custom metadata to all rips

When I'm ripping my CDs, I have some custom metadata that I like to add to all files. I can add this after the metadata has been read from the CD, but it does not persist and I have to manually add it each time a new CD is inserted. Is it possible to have these custom tags persist? I thought maybe if I created a profile with the custom tags filled in it might work, but no luck.

CD ripper options button >> metadata and id tags

at the end of the page you can enter a custom tag which will persist.

refresh the cd for the tag to be added.
