Why is Image Converter only using two threads by default on a PC that has 16 cores?

I have the latest version of dBPoweramp Image Converter installed and I use it often to convert image files. I have a high-end processor with 16 cores (32 Logical Processors) but when I convert images in batch via the context menu, the application defaults to two cores. I was under the impression that Image Converter automatically uses the maximum number of CPU cores/threads available on your system. How can I permanently configure Image Converter to use all available cores without having to add the "Multi-CPU Force" DSP effect?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You would include that DSP effect, its inclusion would be preserved, however for images it could be the disk is slower than the CPU bottleneck.
