Firstly apologies, the programme is a cd ripper and I am suggesting that programme has the ability to rip from an image file. Eg .bin or nrg. However, I felt CD Ripper was the closest forum to allocate this to it.

Sometimes drive stops ripping and then CD Ripper will be either reripping tens of thousands of frames while the drive does nothing, and then the rest of the tracks will error out. In the set up for CD Ripper on my old iMac, the list of Genres available to choose in the drop down included some that are not available on my new install. Is there a place where you can add or edit what is available in the drop down?

Setting to have other apps ignore CD insertion
Setting dbpoweramp up on my new Mac mini. I'm almost positive that on my old iMac I had a setting so that when I open CD Ripper it would then keep other apps from trying to access the CD.

CD Ripper reporting Drive Not Found?
I've been using dbPoweramp for a good few years now. My current setup is using a USB enclosure with an Asus BW-16D1HT. It has no issues with any other software, i.e. MakeMKV.
I use Bitdefender: Total Security but it can't be blocking the device otherwise MakeMKV wouldn't work.
