Have been ripping with a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GUE1N, getting 100% accuracy. Loaded onto a new Seagate portable HDD 2tb ( STKM2000400) and playing through a Wiim Ultra. I'm getting the occasional blip of silence, lasts less than a second but noticeable, it's happening enough to be annoying.....any thoughts... -

I have a bunch of CDs that I want to rip in two ways:
1. CUE/FLAC (single file) for archival purposes
2. MP3 for use in my car stereo
The only way I've found to do this is to rip the CD twice with two different profiles. I found the multi-encoder...

I like keeping the "date" information of my albums correct when possible. I believe this is treated as "Year" tag?
In the case of more modern reissues (typically remastered) I've taken to using this later release date as 'date' (hence 'year'?), but then often Musicbrainz... -
