Trying to convert my 24 bit Flac to cd ( 16bit 44.1) but cannot see correct encoder, help ?... -
After updating to the last version 2026-07-13 for MacOS my browse tree "Additional - Folders&Filenames" was without any content. i was not able to get it working again (Using Asset for about 15 years now). Only after reinstalling the former version from 2025 I was able to use Asset again.... -
Just found this forum, and as I have a problem I cannot explain, I thought I'd ask a question.
Using W11, I'm getting distortion after ripping CD track - the CDs are ones I created years ago, CD-Rs. Cannot remember what I did, but probably placed WAV tracks in a directory, created a .CUE...

It may well be simply some fundamental error/misunderstanding on my part, but I don't understand why the update is failing...
from the web interface, it offers a direct link to R2026-7-13
I click on this, and I get a local download saved titled "getupdate"

After updating last night to 2026-07-13 Asset is no longer indexing my music on my Synology 1821+ DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 4.
Things I've tried:-- Checked the file permissions on the music, Asset System internal user = read/write
- Changed the folder to a folder in Music containing less
