The active metadata providers on the macOS version of R2024-05-30 continually resets to the defaults when running the CD Ripper. If I deselect some and select others, they aren't saved between launches.
I've tried removing the XRegistry.lock file from ~/Library/Preferences/dBpoweramp/ but... -

Question 1: 'Preserve all Frequencies'. What is the purist recommendation to do here? I feel as though checking this would be a good idea because you can do exactly what it...

I'm a newb and was gifted an external hard drive with 400+ CDs recorded as WAV files with Windows Media Player 7.
I want them all on my phone as mp3s (while maintaining the originals) and obviously want to batch convert as simply as possible.
The path is G: Data > Music > Phil >... -
I want to convert a list of audio files, but only if not mp3 files. MP3 files must be copied to the destination.
I'm using Conditionnal encoding DSP with those parameters:

I've run into some weirdnesses with the latest version of the ripper, with the metadata search that has your new metadata database included.
First issue: When no metadata match is found and the search popup opens to search Discogs, sometimes (but not always) two copies of the window open...
