    Uninstall Old Version

I upgraded to latest version of DB Poweramp but am having problems uninstalling an old version from 2014. I ran uninstall from Windows but it is still listed in Apps. How do I delete the old version?

I was able to get most of it uninstalled by reinstalling and then using the uninstaller provided with the app instead of Windows but there is still an app called DBPowerAmp DSP Effects that did not uninstall or a remnent is left and it is still listed. How do I uninstall/delete this from the App list? When I try to uninstall it, it says it can't find the uninstaller. It is version 9.

    My PC has Windows 11.

You would have to reinstall it and uninistall it:

I did that but there is still a remnant left as noted above. What to do about this?

It is possibly the DSP effects related to dBpoweramp audio player?

When I go to Uninstall App Windows page, it is listed as dBPoweramp DSP Effects (Release 9). When I click uninstall it says "Windows can't find C:\Windows\system32\SpoonUninstall.exe".

This was after re-installing and uninstalling version 14.4

Do I need to edit the registry (would rather not) or is there some other way to take it off the Windows Uninstall Apps page?

If you can tell me exactly where to look and what to do in registry editor, will try it. Don't want to take any chances unless sure about it.

I tried to find it with the registry editor going into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall and could not find the item in the Uninstall list. I'm just going to try to forget about it.

You have to open the logs of "dBpoweramp" in the database then select the right version and Uninstall it. You will see a pop-up of this after deleting the version.
