Hello new member here and I am having a problem with all my cd's and the newest version of CD Ripper. Seems like every time I go to rip a cd it gives the error of can't rip cover art make sure that it's not a hidden file. New PC and CD Ripper won't work.
I have changed to a newer PC running Windows 11 pro. Clicked the lifetime registration link in email purchase from dB Poweramp to instal on new PC. When asked to rip a cd just get "Error ripping to Flac" for all tracks. Can someone help please? -
Adding custom metadata to all rips
When I'm ripping my CDs, I have some custom metadata that I like to add to all files. I can add this after the metadata has been read from the CD, but it does not persist and I have to manually add it each time a new CD is inserted. Is it possible to have these custom tags persist? Is there any particular reason why the new version of dBpoweramp doesn't use the latest version of LAME (4.0) by default? Looking at the release notes, it seems to consist of a few bug fixes, but nothing particularly controversial. -
Frequent crashes on startup - CD Ripper Mac (2026-09-05)
After updating to version 2026-09-05, CD Ripper frequently crashes on startup and/or after a few rips. Since updating yesterday, it has crashed 6 times (see attached).
