Any idea when a final (non-beta) version should be available?

This year will see a flood of tablets which run Windows 8, Asset control would run very well on the intel versions of those tablets.

Too bad : there are not many worthwhile control point apps for Linn Ds
Kinsky is slow and updated not often enough, Songbook Lite and Chorus HD development seems idle.
I tried Asset Control on Windows 7 and it is great, I would be ready to buy the IOS version for my Ipad.

We will not support this method, as no other player supports it.

    Hello Spoon,

with my renderer "T&A Musiv Receiver e-series" is no gapless play possible. See the explanation of T&A

    "Gapless Playback controlled by UPnP
    Control Point
For gapless playback the streaming client must
always know which piece of music is to follow the
current piece. The UPnP protocol includes a
command for this which must be supported by the
    UPnP Control Point (SetNextAVTransportURI).
Gapless playback is possible only if the Control
    Point Application also supports the
    SetNextAVTransportURI command in a correct
    way.
To determine if your control point application
supports this command, please contact the
manufacturer of the Control Point application."

Is it possible to add the
"SetNextAVTransportURI" command to the asset controlpoint?

    All my Music-Files are "Flac's"

    Thanks

Re: Asset Control Discussions - Disc/Track order

First post here.... Just wondering when/if the iOS version of Asset Control is likely to hit the streets? I've been using dBpoweramp since '07, recently installed Asset in anticipation of getting a Naim NDS as I currently use a Transporter and Naim DAC. Currently I use iPeng and am very happy with it, but if I move to a Naim streamer I need a uPnP controller with as much functionality... I'm not sure Naim's nSteam is there yet, so I'd like an alternative.

    Thanks...!

It is the upnp server which does this, not control point.

Does Asset Control recognize Disc number in multi disc albums?
I have many multi disc albums and I see all track 1s listed together instead of in disc order.
What do I need to do to get the disc/track order correct?

On the folder before the listing is a '>' item, click it to add to the playlist.

Thanks Spoon, that works nicely. However, is there an easy way to get a track listing into the playlist without selecting each one individually? If you select an album via any route you can select the tracks to play by clicking om "play album". If you select a track list it seems you need a "play all" option?
