I don't have the same plain text copy. Will wait for the fix. Using embedded multimedia server in the interim.

You do have the ‘plain text’ version of your browse tree.
When to edit the browse tree to make it look however you want it, the plain test version of that is made in the Asset
If you copy it & save it for use if it’s ever required

It's possible that it's been fixed in new version-
Current build: 2026-08-02 Downloads: macOS (https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/2026-08-02/Asset%20UPnP-2026-08-02.dmg) QNAP (https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/2026-08-02/Asset_20260802b.qpkg) Synology (https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/2026-08-02/Asset-R2026-08-02b-DSM7.spk) Linux: x86 32-bit (https://www.dbpoweramp
Asset program for 32-bit x86 processors was removed from Asset Synology/QNAP packages a few months back because I assumed affected NAS models to be extinct. This has now been reverted. Please install it and report if it works.
It appears that Synology DS214 Play is has an Intel CPU and runs 32-bit operating system, so this is likely it.
It took me a while to figure this out because DS214 (non "Play" version) is reported to have ARM.Comment

Hi Peter, sorry no luck wit this beta, it has the same problem(s) as the current 07-29 release.
As I said in a previous post, the release before 2026-07-29 worked perfectly on my Syn DS214 using DSM 7.1.1.(update 9)
Installed is Asset-R2026-08-02b-DSM7.spk
The iPad Naim app is open & the streamer is opening all its various app/functions normally -- except it will not open NAS (Asset)
On the Synology GUI screen the installed Asset screen shows the correct installed details, but when the 'Run' button is pressed is goes to Running for a few seconds, then 'Manually Stopped'.
The http // 192.168.1.***:45537/ command shows a screen with 'This site can't be reached' ... '192.168.1.*** refused to connect'.
Sorry its not worked, I can wait and happy to try whatever you put forward.Comment

Hi Peter ... sorry but this is getting into territory I am not familiar with - hence why I don't get involved with Beta testing.
I've enabled SSH on Synology
Opened Windows Command Prompt and follwed what I believe you are asking for
It tells me its unable to negotiate with 192.168.1.*** port 22
I fear I into stuff I don't understand and liable to screw something up
Is there anything thats less IT I can help with
