Some years ago, I was running the cd ripper very effectively. I since moved to streaming services, but am now moving back to ripping cds.
I dug out some instructions a friend of mine gave me which included the following:

CD Ripper 2025-11-12 issue - Error writing audio data to StdIn Pipe
Upgraded CD Ripper today to 2025-11-12 (not sure if that is relevant). I did not make any changes to my normal settings (multi encoder - FLAC and m3) and tried to rip a CD, but got the same error on every track:

Selectable versions of LAME
Would love the ability to select which version of LAME i prefer to use. example, if I could select 3.98, 3.99, 3.100, 3.101 etc. -

Replacing default tags
How can I replace the default tags with tags set in the tags section of dBpoweramp? For example replace Artist with soloist? -
De-Dup Indexes every time it launches
Running perfect tunes 2025-06-16 - every time I launch De-Dup it goes through the indexing process, which is currently taking in excess of an hour to go through 30000+ tracks each time. Can't see any reason why it not saving the cache, music is on an external drive, but even it I just close the program... -
How To Embed Album Art In Ripped WAV Files?
In dbpoweramp control center I have tagging set to ID3, yet when I rip a album and play it through windows media player, the album art doesn't come up. Does WMP not read those tags or am I missing something? I also have the tag album art selected in the CDGrab tagging settings. I think that I made a mistake with my initial order
I decided this was the software I wanted to use to rip my CD collection into FLAC files. In the past I was using JRiver and I never encountered any problem. Album art
I have converted an MP3 file to Flac with dbpoweramp, so far so good as it moves the file to my Naim Unity Core. However it dose not show the album art work, I am using PerfectTunes to get the art work to show. What am I doing wrong, I have messed on for several days without any luck.
