        Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP

We have an issue on this Asset QNAP release which can fill the '/' ramdisk path, we hope to release an update very soon which fixes, for now leave Asset uninstalled if you have a large collection.

Install on my QNAP 419 worked a charm but how do I set the browse tree config?

The next update will allow text editing of the tree.

                Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP

                Hi Spoon,

                Version 6 looks much improved
                Installation on TS-219, very smooth
All albums and artists are now correctly shown

                However
After a while (5-10 min) asset did not respond anymore.
Unable to browse, hourglass (as it was used to be called) is on the screen for eternity but no browsing is possible.
Tried to restart, but webpage http://QNAPTS19:45537/ does not respond.
Tried to stop and start using the application page on qnap and sliding the switch from on=>off=>on. this worked but had no effect
When checking the system monitor on the qnap ui, asset is on 0% of cpu usage.

An excellent feature which i have been trying to get to work on twonky for ages, is the transcoding of flac to lpcm.
Now my flac files are visible on by bravia kdl 46-w5500. finally i can sit on the couch and choose all music on my nas using the remote.
                Excellent work

                Hope this helps.

                  Hi Spoon,

Forgot to mention in the previous post.
It is possible to enter the Tune in station "Netherlands" and it saved.
However i am not able to browse the stations in asset control

Nothing is needed prior to installation.

Baardog, does asset appear on your control point? and x.x.x.x are replaced with the actual IP address of your nas, or your browser is trying to open x.x.x.x?

                            When I hit Launch:

                            I just get this:

And the IP of my QNAP is 192.168.1.11

Perhaps you have a local firewall on your PC blocking that port?

Turned off Windows built-in firewall; same problem.
Created port-rule for AssetUPnP; same problem.
