Your browser should offer to save the file not show the contents of it...try right clicking >> Save as.

We prepare the main release, just working with QNAP on correcting an icon issue.

When do you expect the official release of Asset for QNAP.

I have tried to download the test 10 beta version but when I click on the link I just get pages of code.

Is a quick 60 day build possible to use in the meantime - pretty please.

    Hi,

Downloaded above and ran fine on my QNAP TS219P until the 30 days expired.

Without thinking about it I followed the message to dbpoweramp.com and bought Asset UPnP R4.1 (order <edited>).

But of course this gives me versions for Windows 8, 7 & Vista, XP, WHSs 2011 & v1.

I cant find the /share folder on my QNAP.

It is not possible with flags, we need the device.

Hi Spoon - I saw the message earlier from a TS-639 user getting the 'wrong architecture' error. I get the same on a TS-459 Pro II. 'uname -m' says 'i686' so, yes it is wrong :(
Is it possible to do a 32 bit build? Set the 32-bit compiler flags if it's C? (I'm chancing it here).

Asset should bind to all IP addresses, and match the Control Point ip with one of its known, we need to look at this.

    Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP

    Hi Spoon,
Am running "Test10_0.1_arm-x19.qpkg" on a TS-421 with Firmware 4.0.2. Assett Library Contains 5872 Tracks, 715 Albums
    Version: R4.2 Beta;
I am using Win8.1 with Windows Media Player as a client in a Workgroup (no Domain). The subnet starts with 192. . .
I can see the QNAP as a Media Library and can play tracks from the standard QNAP media Server. I can also see "Assett UPnP: <servername>" and all of the Albums with all of the tracks which are beautifully sorted (kudos!). The only issue is, is that I can't play any tracks. If I go to the "Properties" of a track I see the following (2 examples):

    or

As my Network subnet starts with 192. . . I am not surprised that I can't play the files as the IP address is totally wacko!
    Ah - I have an idea. ..
Assett is provisioning the files with an Open VPN client IP Address set in the QNAP. . . Any idea why? It have just checked the Properties of the Assett UPnP Server - its Device Website is listed as 10.8.0.1:45537 however under "Troubleshooting Information" it is listed with the correct 192. . . address of the QNAP???

    Hi Spoon,

Did you manage to reproduce the issue I raised and sent you some sample files for?

    Thanks.

We currently do not have a registered version of Asset on the QNAP.
