The beta allows FLAC files to be converted using the Grabber DSP without the error message. Thanks for the help.
dAP still won't play the resulting mp3 sample file even though WinAmp, WMP and Foobar will. I will do a little more research to see if I can pinpoint what type of sample files made with Grabber will and will not be played by dAP. If I find something I'll let you know.
Hello I downloaded this beta today because I need to rip samples from a CD where I want them to start 30 seconds in and it looked like Grabber would do the trick. I'm having a problem though in that the rip of the first track gets stuck and won't go on to subsequent tracks. The status for the track shows "Encoding 27%" and the remaining tracks show "Queued". The status line at the top shows Ripping Track 1 and the elapsed time just keeps incrementing. Track 1 is sampled fine, I just can't get it to proceed to the rest of the tracks.
FWIW I only installed the beta of DSP Effects, everything else is at release level (from download last week), is that a problem?
Also, we've got another machine running the release version of everything where we use Minimum/Maximum Length effects set to 30 seconds, which works fine, but when I try to do the same thing in the beta, I end up with the whole track instead of just the 30 seconds.
one little bug, but it doesn't really bother me
when you have the "delete source" DSP chosen and you choose to overwrite the file the file goes in the bin even after the conversion. So i think it should be like detected if its the same file with the DSP from preventing this to happen again
BUG dsp : delete source remvoes convert to if overwrite existing
bug dsp effect id tags - import album art is only importing from the destinaiton folder, not source
Question for you Spoon: Could you set the importing to be done from either the source or destination? Because sometimes when I would rip a CD that had wrong/no album art, I would put the album art into the destination folder and it would pick it up.
