I don't know... maybe a found a bug.
If I delete the tag via Batch Converter and immediately look again using Batch Converter it is there (but without a value)
The PowerShell command (below) to look specifically for that tag also finds it
PS C:\Users\daveb> Get-ChildItem -Path "R:\Abair Mindi - Copy\Wild Heart\01 - Amazing Game.flac" | Select-Object "Song Rating"

So it is definitely there. And this is "custom" tag so I would think it should not reappear. I can see why a standard tag should remain.Comment

He asked if I had set this tag as a default tag. I originally set this up at least 1 year ago and had forgotten that I had in fact set that tag as a default tag. (Control Center - Configuration -dBpoweramp Reference - Default Tag Edit Fields). I removed it from the default list and my problem has been resolved!
I thought that you all might like to know what the solution was. It was self-inflicted pain.
