PerfectTUNES "error writing to file" local files, NOT a permissions issue

Hi so I'm well aware there has been countless threads regarding this issue.

However, I have been using dbpoweramp for two years without any problems, and it just so happens I've upgraded my license and installed the latest version to find that none of the CDs I rip are in the database....

It seems to me that if I'm ripping with multiple drives and one is done, it doesn't let you eject that disc and replace it to start on another disc. Is this correct? Is there any plan for a more robust multi-drive setup? I have a feeling I'm a fringe case using more than 5 drives at once.

Unfortunately, I was playing around with the settings and now Secure mode won't work, I get perpetual 0% ripping. I tried uninstalling dbpoweramp and reinstalling but makes no difference, I guess it kept my last settings. Can someone tell me where I might have gone wrong?

I've seen a consistent behavior out of the batch ripper where once a CD is deemed to have a ripping error, the process seems to hang.

Observed behavior:
1) DBPA Batch Ripper reports Ripping error
2) Disc does not eject into failed pile
3) errored disc remains in the CD...

I'm syncing flac files to foobar2000 on an iphone. After every sync, INVARIABLY, it says 'sync finished with errors' on my iphone. I can't find a tunefusion log. I checked APPDATA, Program Files etc. The files are synced properly. Everything is organized in directories. I'm obsessive about file names...
