    WAV file Metadata?

Greetings - really glad I found dbpoweramp.

I've placed metadata in a WAV file, including album art and lyrics. However, this doesn't show up in iTunes when I open the "Get Info" window.

Is there any way to get metadata into a WAV file that will show up in iTunes...

    WAV to FLAC uncompressed

I need to create FLAC (uncompressed) audio files for my new DAP player. Does it make any difference whether I rip tracks from the original CDs to FLACs, or from copy CDs to FLAC, or from WAV files already on my PC? Please help. Thank you.

    Add print list feature

I just bought Perfectunes last night after a year using DBpoweramp and I had a few questions and a suggestion.

The album art search brought up 260 without art, many were just single tracks which appear to be albums where
track 1 recorded with no metadata after ripping with WMP....

  • WAV to (ALAC +metadata). Getting confused...

Obviously a bit of a newbie here but I have been doing some research here and elsewhere. I found a couple of threads here that petered out just as they got interesting (darn it). I digress.

Situation: Thousands of tracks ripped from CD's into WAV on my WinTel box. Being WAV there is no...

    What's in the container?

    Hi people

I have the following (technical) question and no matter how hard I google, I can't seem to find the answer.

    - What is inside the FLAC container that stores the sound. My understanding is that WAV holds PCM through the RIFF format.
    - Does what the container...

  • Problems with wav IMA ADPCM 22.050 kHz 4 bit Stereo converter

As the title says, I am trying to convert from .mp3 to compressed .wav using the format IMA ADPCM with 22.050kHz, 4 bit stereo.
After converting the files, I noticed that the files are unusually small in size. Also, the play-time on the files is 0:00.

redbook cd from aif + tags

Hi, when I add tags to the aif files I create and then convert to 16/44 wav the bitrates are more than 1411 (ie 1416-1418). Does this mean I should not use taged WAV's for Redbook cd creation? I am using cdburner xp for burning. I have not tried your burner.

    Thanks!

WAV - APE: Markers & Regions

When I convert from WAV to APE within dMC, all my markers and regions are lost.

However, doing the conversion within Monkey's Audio's standalone encoder/decoder, they are all retained.

Is this something dMC can incorporate soon? It's frustrating to have to use two programs...

Random bursts of white noise generated

On occasion when converting from Flac to WAV the music converter generates a randomly placed short section of white noise (part of a second) Another attempt may well cause the white noise to be in another part of the file. I can't seem to find such a problem on here. Can anyone help?
