  • MP4 Audio Lost When Changing Title Tag with dbPowerAmp Properties Page

When I add a title tag to an MP4 video file using the RT click on file/properties dbPoweramp ID page, it works as advertised but the audio on the file will not play afterwards. MP3 tag will change the title tags without any problems and I have repeated the sequence with many different MP4s to confirm...

redbook cd from aif + tags

Hi, when I add tags to the aif files I create and then convert to 16/44 wav the bitrates are more than 1411 (ie 1416-1418). Does this mean I should not use taged WAV's for Redbook cd creation? I am using cdburner xp for burning. I have not tried your burner.

    Thanks!

Do I need to rip one more time if I need more tags ?

    Hello

I'm a DJ with a lot of CD and I have asked a compagny to do the rip for me.

I'm sure at 99% they have been using dbpoweramp engine to do the rip.

Unfortunatly some tags I need, for example ISRC, UPC, are not in the MP3 and FLAC files. Is there a way...

A new text function for tags

My main interest is classical music. I would like a new function to parse the composer name when assigning a file name. This could be called [NWORDS] and would be the first N words of the text.

For example, I might have for the composer tag: "Haydn, Joseph (1732–1809)"....

  • Always write certain tags in compressed files when ripping

My first tests with dBpoweramp ripper show that this has become a great tool for secure rips over the years. Would it support generating CUE sheets for multi-track files, I'd fully abandon EAC. But that's another topic.

Here my question is regarding tag output generation. I use the multi-encoder...

Custom Tags and Vorbis Comment Fix Badly Needed

When creating custom tags for ripping CDs to FLAC, dbpoweramp does NOT always obey the preferred vorbis comment recommendation and therefore we do not get the desired results.

For some 'standard' fields, such as Composer, this entry

How do I do meta data tagging right?

I'd be very thankful if spoon or some of the experienced classical music rippers could take time to answer my questions. I try to state them in a comprehensible way.

Old story, same whining: I want to start ripping a classical music library of ~3000 CDs, I want to rip only once and not...

  • Suggestions to make perfect metadata ... more perfect and improve meta data entry

    1) Perfect Metadata Review Window
    - It could be a great feature but in practice it's quite unusable because the data can't often be read on a small monitor like a laptop one (i listen to classical music and retrieved data text is often quite long, specially for title)
    - unresizable window...

Some questions about the Lame encoder

    Hi.

On the Lame section of the main site, it says:

mp3 (Lame) encoder is on a 21 day trial, Tompson hold various patents for mp3 encoding & decoding,

Does this mean that if the trial of the program was used, after the 21 days, Lame could no longer be...
