In the coming 6 months 64-bit Windows is set to 0wn.. people with dBPowerAmp are generally savvy, literate blokes with an interest in tech - IOW prime candidates for 64-bit migration; it'd be nice to have full 64-bit support for audio encoding in my app of choice, and suspect that many others will wish it too.
No hurry, maybe by next year? Most of the new machines shipping should be 64bit by then, since Intel's finally got x64 and AMD is phasing out even the budget 32-bit procs.
Off-topic: anybody know if there's any real benefit to 64-bit addressing for audio compression? A genuine speed increase? I don't know enough of compression tech to know either way.
