In order of priority
1) DVD layer of DualDisc
2) DAD 24/96 and HDAD
3) Advanced resolution stereo from DVD-Audio. At least rip them to 16 bit/ 48 kHz format
3) has some painful technical hurdles, but there are definitely some interesting titles.
The ultimate cheeze technique for 3) is a DVD player that outputs DVD-audio over standard S/PDIF (Meridian, at least, makes this) and just record from that.
