    it should be even easier then that. In fact the current DSP needs only minor tweaking from spoon to not only remove the silence, but split the track as well, would be easy to do...

      So at the moment if you have 1 file containing 2 tracks with a few minutes of silence in between, what does this "Hidden Track Silence Removal" DSP do with the 2 tracks?

      Does it just remove the silence from in between leaving 2 tracks back to back in the 1 file?

            Good day. Is somebody knows if a software exists which could see if there is an hidden track on a disc. Only to see and not for ripping. A software which is capable to see a long silence between two tracks for example.

              Adding my vote as well.

              Splitting during rip is preferable to splitting after the fact since things like ReplayGain and volume normalization really need to be calculated separately for the two tracks.

              I'd be happy with some way to manually specify start/stop index times for a given track.
