Found a great ID tagger - see my message everyone

In reference to these old posts where I have constantly pressured Spoon and other members for approval:

I'd like the ability to add Album Art to multiple audio files at the same time. It is quite annoying and tiresome to have to do it one song at a time.

In dbpoweramp r11 I could add record label information (publisher) details to id3 tags manually, why cant you do this by default - what I mean is is that the publisher is already there and all a user would have to do is add the the details when tagging. btw - I am not reffering to ripping a CD here, I am refering to existing

    1. I would like to know when converting an AAC aka/ .m4a file to mp3 format, why it does not retain the 'publisher' and 'composer' tage in the id3. 2. Also when converting audio files (mp3,wma,m4a) with embedded album art - why does not the current dbPoweramp retain these too in the newly converted file. 3. ANY DATES AS

I would like the context menu 'edit tag' option to look very close to my illustrated below, also the tag window skin should be replaced with something that looks sleek and professional rather than a plain grey. as I have outl;ined I would love it if the next r12.1 featured these, PLUS an independent feature

On the lovely thread 'dBpowerAMP R12 Technology Preview' have you added Album art editting from within the right click 'edit tag' function as yet and if so, am I able to test this as I am dying to - this r12 is going to be significantly SOMETHING I can feel. Album art - edit tag

I am new to this forum and am surprised that programs like Easytag 1.99 and ID3TAGit can add jpeg image files album art to my mp3, how come dbpoweramp 11.5 cannot do this (id3 v2). it would be nice if dbPoweramp could do this in a tab form so take db 11.5, when you right click to edit the id3 artist, album etc. there should

I have now found that id tagger I have always desired it is called Mp3tag (version 2.38) and is written by a German author going by the nick Florian. the tagging on that program is great it can operate via GUI (interface) or via the right click shell extension as a batch editor.

    Mp3tag - http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

I can also paste album art with drag and drop from Windows explorer and can add my own default tag entried including RECORD LABEL id3 tag (which is under Publisher in options) - did I forget to mention that it is freeware.

Dbpoweramp is very great and I know that it does not revolve around the central feature of tagging and more on CD ripping, codecs etc.

AudioShell is another freeware that I use for right click editting, it has a similar 'getpopup' as dbpoweramp's but not as good as dbpoweramp's.

@Spoon and every member - I am just making the post to inform and to let you know I will cool down on the persistant tagging subjects, as mp3tag has met my needs. by looking at any other soft should help the developer to an extent and compare creations

    thanks

To update: r12.2, currently in beta, has places for default tags such as Artist, Album, Title, and a few others that I forget offhand. Also, Spoon said multi-file album art editing will be in r13, I believe.

Until then, I hope that Mp3tag helps you survive the wait.
