Install your registered version, then install the latest dMC beta linked below.

Also, dCW Release 2 is now available. For a new registered download, click the "Registration" link above, then click the "Registered Download Retrieval" link at the bottom of the page.

so its back to 11.5,but why did it revert to 11 anyway?
Must have been reinserted with dCW, I would think.

also my background in MMC is now black,i think it was white before,i had this problem some time ago and someone told me how to change it but i no longer remember how,is this something to do with versions?
If you are only dealing with the dAP default skin, it might do with versions. Perhaps you installed an older version of dAP? In my current configuration, the dAP version (r3 beta 6) is shown in the dMC Configuration display. This would tend to confirm you have an older version of dAP installed.
Of course, some dAP skins have their own color schemes for MMC, so this might be an alternate scenario in which you might encounter an MMC screen with a black background.

Edit: I could post the colors.txt file for the white background version of the default skin if you need it.

            Best wishes,
            Bill

Yep, Still going strong as is WUNC and their Back Porch Music (although that is generally more tepid than full blooded bluegrass).
On the other hand, there was a bluegrass gospel show Sunday mornings out of Burlington that either has gone off the air or has been overrun by a station with a stronger signal.

                  Anyway, best wishes,

Re: Sveta Beta and Creative Zen Touch

When you install dCW, it installs dMC r11. The old Sveta beta installed dMC r10.1. The add-on programs include an embedded version of dMC as it is required for the program. It doens't check the version but installs over your current version. As you discovered, checking dMC Configuration to ensure the latest version is installed is always a good idea.

So are these specific versions required by the add ons and do i run the risk of breaking anything by having updated them ?

Then I should be good to go then on the versions anyway.

Initially I tried some editing of tags with sveta and it worked fine.

I then tried to convert a song from mmc to "zen touch" and i got that old familiar lock up at 98%

did a hard shut down and restart and tried again after i changed the compression setting from send as is to mp3 lame..

I managed to convert maybe 5 files and locked up again.

This is where i always get locked up at....one type of conversion or another,
                            altho not every time.

Spoon says it sounds like an unstable system but i have no problems with anything else...and i would think this would show up elsewhere if that was the case....

Spoon mentioned an unstable system because of you saying dMC has locked up before when your ripping a CD. Does your system lock-up when your doing something else processor intensive, such as encoding video?
