Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
Did you uninstall the old Sveta driver too? Did you reboot beteween uninstalling Sveta and installing the new Sveta?
And yes, uninstalling Sveta is recommended first, I believe.
Make sure you install the new driver too.
And did your machine lock-up on installing Sveta, after installing Sveta, rebooting after installing, or when trying to run Sveta.Comment

Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
First, uninstall everything, of course.
As for the order, I'm going to take a guess but I'm not sure.
First Sveta, then dCW, then dAP, then dMC. If you haven't already, also install the latest dMC beta last, as it updates the mp3 encoder and a large list of bugs.
As for the installation problems, try installing it after you remove every other dBpowerAMP Program.
And did it lock up your computer or just the install?Last edited by LtData; August 27, 2005, 04:43 PM.Comment

Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
It locked up my computer....this has happened many times with dap...altho usually when converting files or ripping from cd.
Isnt sveta a add on for dap ? I would think the add ons would be installed after the main program, but then i really have no clue.
Thanks for your help man but its been a long day and i will attack this problem tomorrow.Comment

Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
I think you mean dBpowerAMP Music Converter or, abbreviated, dMC. And Sveta is now split from the PowerPack. Even before, it still installed dMC and the PowerPack. I say install dMC last as it is more updated than the dMC you get with dCW and Sveta.
I'll try installing the new Sveta either today or tomorrow and see if it locks up on me too.Comment

Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
Sveta installed just fine for me. However, the progress bar never incremented. It went from sitting there to the pop-up saying "View help". Also, the afterwards launching of dMC Configuration didn't show Sveta as installed, but a subsequent run did.
Thread split to address possible new beta problems.Comment

Re: Which driver for Creative Zen Touch
>it locked up in the installation,
If the installation, and other programs are locking up your system, you need to check out your system (don't overclock, check cpu temperature), it looks like a system instability. The installer that installs dbpoweramp's range of programs have been used on roughly 10 million installs, it is very reliable.Comment

I have uninstalled everything and rebooted...and i am goin to retry this again,in the order suggested earlier.
I realized this morning that my zen was plugged in when i attempted the last
install...dont know if that makes any difference or not.Comment

Re: Sveta Beta and Creative Zen Touch
Successfully installed this time with no apparent problems.
Have not attempted to add my device yet....
this is what i ended up with
Version Information
dBpowerAMP Music Converter: Release 11.5
Power Pack & Mp3 License: [ Registered: No 30 Days Trial Remaining ]
dBpowerAMP Audio Player: Release 3 Beta 6
dBpowerAMP CD Writer: Release 1.1 'easy way to burn audio cds'

Creative Jukebox Release 3
So how do i get my power pack registered again,I have the original registered
