I guess i didnt, neither .ra or .rm will play in WMP but they will play in
Winamp and Media Player Classic (MPC). If it wasnt part of the Real-Alt package,
i didnt install it.

Before i go get it, will it have any effect on Winamp or MPC as they now both
play .ra, .rm files???

MPC uses its own Real decoder, so no on that. Winamp is probably the same.

And the Real Directshow Splitter IS part of RA, its just not selected by default IIRC.

Yes, i saw that.
When i installed RA, i just accepted the defaults. Dont know why its not
working but i can install it again and make sure its checked. I'm using version
1.43 (latest).

I re-installed RA and the splitter was there.

Still cant get WMP to play either .ra or .rm files. Must be a setting in WMP i'm
missing somehow.

With an .rm file, WMP shows the name and then says i need a codex.
With a .ra file, i get nothing. It just looks at me! :smile2:
