Can you elaborate on:

• Updated Volume Normalize DSP

This is a big deal as i use it on every rip. Have you changed the default LUFTS value? Or I guess anything else.

Volume Normalize DSP has been updated with the latest changes from dBpoweramp R16 on Windows:

• Default reference level is now -18dB LUFS, was: -23dB
• Added adaptive EBU mode
• New configuration dialog

In Volume Normalize, what is the difference between EBU r128 track gain and EBU r128 adaptive?

Adaptive uses small windows to change the volume in track, this is for noisy environments, such as in the car.

I've used the Music Converter of beta 1 without any problems.

I tried the CD Ripper today on 2 pristine CD's which i have ripped before with no problems. Secure ripping carried over from version 15.7. When trying to rip, it shows pass 1, then CPU1 encoding and then displays the word error. It never goes to pass 2 or to ultrasecure ripping. Here is the clipboard od the error report. I am ripping to Apple Lossless with Verify after ripping checked. I also am using DSPs: Trim Silence and Volume Normalize (EBU r128 track gain)

can confirm neither Beta 1 nor Beta 2 help
Mac mini
rip appears to go ok then fails when verifying
roll back to version 15.7 beta 3 ( 1) and all well again

Thanks for the bug reports.

Beta 3 has been posted; a bug causing verification errors when ripping to Apple Lossless has been corrected.
