Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
Noticed The Music Converter having some minor issues.
In the Converting window click on the Options button (the lower left corner). On my 8 Core processor. I'v changed it to Using 6 Cores.
It doesn't change to 6 cores and after app shout down it reverts back to 8 core setting.
Another issue in converter options is "Display Information Log" isn't working.
Beta v10 64bit.

Spoon,
Beta 10:
Another Regression - CD-Text Genre is once again taking the two byte binary at the start of the field as Text.
Thanks for fixing the Tabbing issue.
Thanks.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
Hi Spoon, thanks for the tip, got the 32bit R16 Beta 10 installed now.
There is however a bug related to focus when editing the track title field in R16 CD Ripper. It's been present in all the beta versions I've tried since R16 Beta 6. Bug is this: when using Ctrl-Shift-RightArrow to select multiple words in the title (e.g. to delete or typeover), the first press correctly highlights the word to the right of the cursor, but the second press (i.e. to select the next word as well) is interpreted like pressing Tab in Excel and focus shifts from the Title tag the Artist tag.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
Yes, you need to uninstall R16, then force the 32 bit version to install, see:Hi Spoon, I have R14.4 Registered Reference installed on Win10 64bit. Been using R16 beta for a couple of weeks now (beginning with Beta 6, then 9 and now 10) but it suddenly says Trial expired. When I open R14.4 it says "Registered Reference" and all is good, but R16 Beta 10 says trial expired and spits out any CD I try to rip.
I thought R16 Beta can be installed over any paid release? Can it only be installed over R15?
The 64 bit release of dBpoweramp will only work correctly with 64 bit codecs. In Codec Central the codecs which are indicated as 32 bit only will not work with the 64 bit version of dBpoweramp. As the 32 bit version of dBpoweramp has been retired, on the registration download page is an 'Old OS?' link, click that to downloadLeave a comment:

Beta 10: If I change the Path to rip to the Filename column doesn't update accordingly even if I change the Naming scheme. It does, however, when I click on Rip, as well as ripping to the right locationLeave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
I guess your R14.4 is a 32bit and your R16 is a 64bit installation.

Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
Hello Spoon,Hello Spoon,
I am really enjoying dBpoweramp R16 so far, particularly the updated user interface.
I do have a bug to report:
When entering metadata for a disc that currently has none via the track listing area, the artist is not correctly updated - it is shown in the track listing window but not in the top toolbar and when ripping, the track artist is not assigned. This can be easily duplicated by clearing the metadata for a disc then entering the metadata via the track listing area for a couple of tracks, then click on the first and observe that there is no artist shown in the top toolbar, then rip the track and observe that the track is not assigned the artist.
I also have an improvement suggestion:
When entering metadata via the track listing area, I have noticed that the behaviour is to advance to the next field as shown in the track listing window when pressing enter, though since I prefer to enter all of the track titles then enter all of the track artists, I would prefer that enter advanced to the same field for the next track - perhaps this could be an option? I have noticed that using the down arrow appears to achieve this, however only if the field is not modified, if the field is modified, using down arrow advances to the next field for the track instead. I have also noticed some apparent random behaviour when using the arrow keys to navigate within a field but cannot seem to duplicate this behaviour sufficiently.
Cheers,
Jason.
Any chance you could look into my bug report and improvement suggestion?
Thank you for such a wonderful product
Cheers,
Jason.Leave a comment:

Yep. It was column spacing.
That's one off the list.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16 Discussions
Spoon,
BTW when you reorganized the Year, Genre, Composer fields, you didn't fix the TAB order. It goes from Year to Composer and skips over Genre.Leave a comment:
