Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
I'm running into a problem where beta8 for QNAP x19 rescans the library repeatedly. It seems to be triggered by browsing in Kinsky, but I'm not entirely certain. I have Asset installed on a Win7Pro PC, but it is disabled (the PC is still running).
The only options I've changed from default are: Scanning for new titles is turned off, L24 support is turned on and I have FLAC files transcoding to WAV.
This also happened in beta6 & beta7.Leave a comment:

Gents, I have sent you some more logs over relating to the issue in the post awaiting to be approved.
Hopefully they are of some help, thanks again.Leave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Hi,
Ok, sadly it keeps dropping out, I must admit not quite as much as the previous build but every few songs - occasionally the qnap is going in the high 90's CPU wise on occasion I had enabled logging and when it happened the following showed if the bottom section means anything useful?;

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
I have mentioned one potential issue which is awaiting approval, just another observation the scanning of the library is slower as the hard disks are not showing much activity and it was roughly doing 1000 in around 20 seconds but now it takes around 3 minutes to do 1000.
Is this the sacrifice in order to keep the CPU usage sensible?
Thanks.Leave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Spoon,
Just an observation, it appears the CPU usage is much lower overall during rescans - fantastic sitting around 60-70%, but.... should there be two processes running? - still rescanning 38k to go!!!

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Update 30th January
- Fixed more radio handling bugs
- MP3 encoding disabled for ARM CPUs
- Improved album art picture caching - reduced CPU usage with repeated album art requests
- [ x64 CPU series ] Fixed nonsensical bitrate value reported to UPnP control points & renderers; hopefully improved compatibility
- [ QNAP x09 series ] Fixed incomplete reading of tags with cover art data presentLeave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
I have same "connectivity issue" than baardog & Declaration, described here:
http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthre...l=1*post141825
In my case I use HS-210 & connection inside home network, if I try to open ":45537" comes always "unable to open" no matter if I use two different PCs (lan) or Ipod (wlan).
Restarts etc. done. I bet that this is not a firewall issue.Leave a comment:

Re: Asset UPnP for QNAP
Hi Peter,
While I have briefly looked at the browse tree, I don't believe that I made any changes to it. Looking at it, I see that Artist/Album, Album. Title, Composer and a few others are all configured the same - A to Z is checked and no track list is checked.
I have just clicked on "get defaults" and "apply", and the problem still persists when I open the Album container.
The "no track list" check box state is wrong upon page load (always same as the other checkbox), even if you click "get defaults" - resulting in malformed configuration after most edits to the tree.Leave a comment:
