Re: Asset Control Discussions - Davaar Compatibility

The server is always going to be compatible with any future release, Asset Control would need updating.

    Hi Spoon,
Does Asset UPnP Version 3 Premium and Asset Control October 2010 Beta work with Linn Davaar?
If not, can you say anything about when it will be compatible?
    Thanks,
    Chip

I cannot commit to a time scale, all I can say at this time is Illustrate are working behind the scenes on something big and hope to announce in about 4 weeks.

Why is it that when I select an album and then press "Play Album" (and the list of songs are transferred to the playlist) it only plays the songs for a few seconds and then skip to the next one on the list. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using Asset Control with a RipNas.

Hello Spoon. I am not seeing my Oppo95 on Asset Control. Is that something that will be looked at when work starts again?

Hi Spoon, There's not much happened on Asset Control within the last weeks/months. I'm wondering how your release-schedule looks like. Linn has developed a new major release Davaar which is in beta now. Will you update Asset Control soon to be compatible with Davaar? Thanks for an update.

WD Live has many issues with Asset Control, they will be looked at when development work resumes.

    Re: Asset Control Discussions

    I use the following setup:
    • Windows Home Server with Asset UPnP
    • uPlayer
    • Asset Control
    • WD TV Live

Asset Control has not problem finiding and communication with Asset UPnP. Asset Control finds WD TV Live, but I was unable to play anything on this device. Is this expected?

When I run on the same laptop (Windows 7) both uPlayer and Asset Control then I can play music served by Asset UPnP running on the Windows Home Server.

With Asset Control I have couple useability issues, so any advice/explanation will be higly appreciated:
    1. Selecting in the Library [Asset UPnP]->[Playlists]->[Jukebox Track Selection] - gives me the list of selected tracks. Click on Play button - nothing happens (no track is played) - why? Why do I have to click 100 times (this is the default jukebox playlist length in Asset UPnP) on tracks in the libary pane to move them to the playlist pane?
    2. Once I get my tracks on the playlist I can change the order in which they are played. Why changing the playing order clears the playlist?

    Thanks
