I just bought R13 and started to use the CD ripper. One thing I noticed is that the "Review PerfectMeta Matches" menu item is greyed out and Alt-M doesn't work. Probably some option somewhere, but I can't find it.

If the lame.exe you put in has support for stdio, then yes.

Cue sheet writing will appear shortly after R13 release (DSP effects should be able to handle them).

How is the CUE support coming along?

Does this discussion imply that we can now use any lame.exe in conjunction with the converter (even a beta version) by copying the new lame.exe into the dbpoweramp folder. And I mean "directly use" not by using the command line as would have been required in 12.4. Thanks.

Previously we did not use lame.exe, we compiled the lame libs ourselves and used it internally.

LAME 3.98 beta 8 using libsndfile 1.0.17 the right one? if not i am the only one with the crash under x64 vista. i think the reason is a change in dmc. strange :(

The lame.exe is standard, we have unmodified it, but you would need a version with Stdio, I have a feeling the 3.98 beta does not have it.

converting about 700 mp3s to 128 kbs cbr. the converting goes to the end but i got a few times the lame.exe crash. but cannot tell you which mp3s are the reason why. dont get any feedback from dmc.

the mp3s have no tags. i removed them and are different rates. can u maybe add the lame 3.98 beta (http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php) if i only change the exe it dont work.

if we dont need to change the exe and it is another problem how to find it?

Ripping or converting crashes lame? it is repeatable 100% of the time on the same files (or disc)?

any log that will solve to find the problem? i dont get any error log so i dont know why it crashed :(

Thanks. If this is as good as it looks then this could be a very satisfying consolidation of 4 of my installed applications down to a single one.
