Problem with moving/deleting directories/files after Ripping

    Hi Experts,
i formerly ripped with EAC and it was too slow in action. Then I bought dBPoweramp and now i'm using dBPoweramp CD Ripper. I'm ripping with my notebook with internal and an external drive.
It's very quick and working really accurate.

But I have problems moving or deleting directories after ripping. There are messages that files are opened in another process. I think the "Thumbs.db"-Files could be the reason.
I believe it is a known problem but i didn't find helping posts. Do you have a solution for this behaviour?

Thank you for your Help .

Thumbs.db is the Windows thumbnail database, it is at the system level.

      Hi Spoon,
thx for your answer. That is correct.

I'm astonished because i used the same directories with EAC. And there was never a problem to move new ripped files from the "Working-Directory" to the complete "Flac-Archive-Directory".
There must be a difference when directories during ripping is created.

      Best Regards

Perhaps dBpoweramp is embedding the album art, it also extends the Windows Thumbnail providers so that the embedded art is shown in Windows explorer.

          Hi Spoon,
I disabled the function "save data in hidden Thumbs.db" via GPEDIT.MSC (using W7 Pro). Thumbs.db are History now. Everthing is working fine now.

          Best Regards
