trying to rip CD ive done all i can think of. please help resolve this popping.

hello, i just found some CDs i missed in my last rip run a few years ago.
i as i start to rip i cant configure accurate rip (i tried R15, the latest refrence in a trial, and EAC. all 3 failed to configure accurate rip with all my CDs, including my newest i bought a few years ago (distant worlds IV (herein DW4), perfectly clean no disc rot)
i tried my good ol LG GH24NSB0, and a brand new one i bought (same model number) both drives had the same results.
they are SATA drives so there is no DMA options, and i dont have any upper or lower filters, i checked the registry, and the GUI contained in imgburn

im out of ideas on trying to fix this. when i replaced the drive, i didnt replace the SATA cable would that help? isnt this a digital signal?

heres what is expected (previous rip, converted to wav)

    heres what im getting

i used catbox as my file host as its dead simple. please excuse the randomised filenames.

it says "This Key Disc cannot be used for offset detection it does not match the AccurateRip stored disc, or your drive does not exist in AccurateRip and this disc has multiple pressings stored. Please try a different Key Disc."

sometimes it can require putting in 20 or more different CDs before AccurateRip can configure on a particular drive. Just keep feeding it CDs.

ive used this disc before to configure it also both the new and old drive are of the same model. old drive was successfully used for accurate rip as well. so i know this is a good combination.

so far heres a summary of the facts

                    issues:
audio played or ripped through the a CD/DVD rom drive has background crackles.
also accurate rip will not configure. using a few known good key disc "Distant Worlds I", also tried "Distant Worlds IV", and a drive in the accurate rip database (model: LG GH23NSB0).

                    things ive tried:
                    1) a brand new CD rom drive same model number (model: LG GH23NSB0) - no improvement
                    2) new SATA cables throughout the entire system - no improvement
                    3) checked filters using both regedit and imgburns filter list tool - no filters at all, so no improvement to be had.
                    3) DISM and SFC - DISM found issues and fixed them, but no improvement
                    4) tried to rip the disc with minimal removable devices connected. all conencted is USB keyboard, USB mouse, ethernet, video card (and display port), 3.5mm audio

                    my remaining ideas:
                    1) repair windows (note 1)
                    2) reinstall windows (note 1)

                    notes:
                    1) i really dont want to do these as i would have to reinstall EVERYTHING. somthing that will literally take over a day.

i forgot to include my specs in the OP so here they are
                    mobo: MSI PRO B650-P WIFI
                    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8500G
                    RAM: TeamGroup VULCAN 32GB DDR5-5200 (2x16GB kit)
Video: Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4070 TI SUPER
                    PSU: Seasonic FOCUS V3 GX-850
                    OS: win10 22H2

If all your rips exhibit popping (I haven't downloaded your wav samples) then there's something wrong with your OS that AccurateRip wouldn't fix.

I don't know how you've partitioned your drive, but can't you image the Windows partition and test a fresh install without too much hassle? It seems you've tried everything else.

so its going to come to that.... i HATE reinstalling windows as it literally takes over a day to get back to where windows was.
and using literally as the dictionary intended,

                          Hey,

I've downloaded the first of the two examples (0g370v.wav) and have listen to it. I did not hear any popping or crackling backgrounds on my PC. Ok, I might listen to the track on my FiiO with KEF headphones, but I doubt that this will lead to a different result. Are you sure that your player can handle wav files with metadata and that the player is responsible for the popping sound?

the first sample (0g370v.wav) is the known good rip. so no pops there. just posted as i stupidly choose a very busy track to use as an example.

new thing i tried: i just remembered i removed a creative audio card a few months ago. so i used DDU to do a full uninstall of the creative remains. - no improvement.
guess its time to grab drivers and software installers.....
