No CD Drive Found

I am trying to run this on a Toshiba netbook using the CD drive in a network attched storage (NAS) device. I cannot find a way to get the CD Ripper to find that drive. I tried installing the software on the NAS device, and even though it installed succuessfully, CD Ripper still does not find the drive on the NAS device.

Ideas?

It is not possible to rip using a drive shared over a network, ripping requires direct access to the drive.
