Hi,
I am a new user of this program. I am using it because since we bought a new laptop operating Windows 7 I have bought a number of new CDs which wouldn't import properly into itunes & someone suggested using dspower to rip them first before copying into the music library.
Unfortunately though it seems so far that this program is struggling with the same Cds that itunes struggles with, certainly if I just insert the CD and start ripping.
I confess I am not very technically minded & wonder if I need to change settings in some way to enable the CD to be read. (I've tried all this in itunes already without success.) Is this a problem that others recognise? I do find it hard to believe that I am the only person buying problem Cds but I have been told that some CDs are now designed so they can't be read by a computer, so if so I'll just have to buy the digital versions instead in future.
I hope I've set out the problem clearly & would appreciate any guidance.
Regards
