    Re: -Reset my windows explorer

I think you are missing the point. I made no changes to either EAC or Songbird. When I installed dbPoweramp, it "took over" the tag handling. When I removed dbPoweramp, the tag handling was no longer available to EAC. It is perfectly fair to reason from this that dbPoweramp did not uninstall cleanly, and has therefore caused the problem.

However, rather than playing the "blame game", I was merely asking if there was a way to get things back to how they were before I tried out dbPoweramp (short of re-installing Windows etc). Can you offer any advice on this please?

Both of these programs (as far as I am aware) are both self contained programs, I think it is co-incidence that the issue you are seeing. Or to put another way EAC does not use dBpoweramp to tag.

Did anyone ever find a solution for this problem? The EXACT same thing happened to me (Windows 7 Ultimate) and I the only Media Players on my computer are the native WMP and Media Player Classic that came with K-Lite. Also, it is within the Explorer window itself that I am having my problem... Not a third-party program. So, please... did anyone find a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance...
