Variations of this question have been asked before, but I don't believe I've seen a thread followed all the way through to its conclusion so that others can apply the information.
Basically, I want to trim all leading and trailing zero data, as I would if I were using mp3trimpro.
Will this strategy accomplish that goal -- without negative effects:
Using the dBpoweramp DSP, I select Silence below any 0 db (100%)
Detection thresold 26 ms.
My hypothesis is that this will trim only completely blank space, leaving only one frame as a safety buffer.
Spoon, will that work -- or am I cutting more or less than I imagine?
Thank you.
