Re: Day Light Savings Time
I find the concept of Daylight Savings Time sooo stupid....why not just even the year out by making each day like....34 hours or something?Comment

Re: Day Light Savings Time
It seems that everybody has forgotten the original reason for this notion :D
This didn't use to be such a problem back in the days before digital clocks and watches. But now, it's a pain to adjust all of them when we go back to regular time in the fall. Not only do yo have to forward 23 hours in order to go back one hour, but you may have to adjust the date as well - all 366 days just to get back ... today... ..... And if there's a year setting in there too..... Forget it :D
At least computers, if set correctly, do it automatically.Comment

Something to that affect.
I feel your pain. We don't change time here. I like it! :D
Lawmakers don't and we may have to join the rest of the world soon.
Something about having the power to manipulate the suns natural position.
Yeah,... so why don't we all just change time instead?! :rolleyes:Comment

Re: Day Light Savings Time
Yahoo!
We've finally friggin caught up with the rest of the country in at least one more way. The adoption of DST finally passed in Indiana, it will begin in April 2006. One less reason to for us all to look like the backwater, stubborn, redneck hicks this state mostly comprises of.
... Now if we could just outlaw NASCAR and it's fans... hehheh... :vmad:Comment
