      Gary,

I just joined a posted a question. Because I am new it needs to be moderated first.

I am not entirely sure if the issue is with Audacity?

      Cheers,

Appear where? (I can't see your attachments yet.) If in Windows Explorer, do your file names start with track numbers? If in foobar, have you tagged the files?

          Hi JH,

My pics never seem to show?! Please try these via Drive:

          Screenshots show Windows and Foobar.

          Cheers,

also in foobar if you click on the track number column heading, it should sort by that and display in track number order.

                  Thanks Gary,

                  I will check.

Strangely, the Folder (art) appears above all of the FLACs (in the album folder); yet in every other CD I have ripped it sits underneath them.

I think we both replied at exactly the same time, hence I missed this response.

I think more evidence that your file names do not start with track number.

                        Hi,

                        Got it now thanks.

I think its working OK having made the changes:

To be honest, I have never really looked at how the files appear in Windows since moving over to Illustrate and Foobar.

                            Hi,

Now that the album is in FLAC and also track marked, is it possible for me to apply 'Replay Gain', please?

                            Thanks,

Yes. Just convert album tracks to Utility dsp Replay Gain. This will write RG tags.

Before I began ripping my CD collection losslessly, it was all mp3. This is what my iTunes library consists of. A big problem, identified by others, is that recent editions of iTunes won't save volume adjustments for individual songs (under Get Info, with the slider). So a few years back I wasn't happy with the volume of my
