How to Edit Properly and Efficiently?????

I am still having trouble with apparent inconsistencies in editing data in file titles using "edit-tag". Sometimes this works just great and sometimes, the edit I make does not remain. I am open to any suggestions, instructions, etc.

I often edit single file data and often edit multiple file data, what must I do differently to make both work?

What does "single edit" mean and when should this be used and how should this be used?

It should make no difference between single or multi edit, as to the tags not sticking what is the tag type again?

I do not understand your question about tag types. Could you please give me one or two examples and I shall try to respond accurately?

Are the files flac, wma or mp3?

Thank you *********. Ny files are FLAC. Iconvert any non-FLAC files to FLAC before putting these in my music collection using dbpa.

I have a problem regarding the playlist functionality. I thought that Asset will generate a playlist whenenver I listen to the server. Can I edit this playlist. If yes, where is it located?
I upgraded to Asset UpNP Version 4.

UPnP servers are not meant to store playlists, it is the control point or player which should do such.

Thank you for the quick response.
That means if a working with the iPad via Kinsky or former with SongBook or in future with Asset Control on the iPad these applications will generate the playlists?
But how? They do not have access to my server. This will be done by Asset UpnP. Or am I wrong?
When I am using Asset Control - I have downloaded it today on my PC- where is the button to save the playlist? I haven't found it.
Is there a folder where I can edit them?
How should this work from the iPad?

Asset Control currently cannot. I think Chorus can though.

I would be very happy if this feature will be implemented in Asset Control soon.
Then I could store the music, I selected depending on my mood, as a playlist, which can be modified some days later.
