When I try to to run the program with the internet access enabled I get a windows error window that say "cdgrab.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..blah, blah". Since it works when the internet access is disabled it's obviously a network problem, however I don't have a problem with any other programs the require internet access. I have tried shutting down the internet security, firewall etc. to no avail. Are there any known settings I could look for that may be the problem. I have Hughesnet 2 meg service so it should work fine.

Re: cdgrabber.exe must close error
Using R13.2?
You can start CD Ripper without any CD in the drive, which should not crash (as it does not have to lookup anything). You can also try removing metadata providers from the Meta drop menu, to see if one is causing it. -

AMG is a little funny if you have a firewall or proxy server which changes the network data.Comment

Re: cdgrabber.exe must close error
I do have a firewall, but I shut it down while trying to solve the problem. I don't go through a proxy server. I don't really care if I'm not losing performance (i.e. CD information detection) capabilities. Is it worth the hassle of trying to figure it out?

You are missing AMG's metadata, that is all.Comment
