I installed the trial dbpoweramp music converter dMC 10.1 and cannot seem to get it to work.
I have all my music ripped to Windows Media Player 11.
I want to use my music as ringtones for my cell phone.
Whenever I try to convert a song it tells me I need a codec. I go to the site and download the codec for XP. When I try to install it I get,
Error whilst running 'C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dbpoweramp\dbConfig.exe'
I click Ok then it tells me Windows Media needs to be restarted.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the dMC and the codec and nothing seems to help. I even tried to rip a song from the CD and nothing. No errors, notips, no windows, nothing.
