virtualbox 1.6.4 and dMC-R13.1-Ref-Trial.exe

Hello,

First thans for dMC.

I tried to use dMC-R13.1-Ref-Trial.exe on virtualbox 1.6.4 whith guest OS : windows 2003 and host debian etch 4.0 and i have installed some plugins like WMA

When i use the command on the virtual machine (Windows) in dos mode :
CoreConverter.exe -infile="C:\input.wma" -outfile="C:\outfile.mp3" -convert_to="mp3 (Lame)" -V 2

this command line works and job is done

When i tried the same command from the debian to the virtual machine i'v the answer : "Only dBpoweramp Reference supports command line encoding"

what's wrong ?

You need the Reference Registered version (or active trial).

Check dBpoweramp Configuration in the VM to make sure the Reference trial is active.

So my trial is active i think.
I don't know where is the probleme.

Why when i execute the commande line from my debian to the virtual machine it doesn't work and when i use the dos command line directly on the VM it works perfectly ?

I also tried to launch a bat file (*.bat) from my debian to the VM and the result is the same

here a commande line to send command to the virtual machine :

ssh -i /root/.ssh/key_dsa -o UserKnownHostsFile=/dev/null -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no www-data@localhost -p 2222 'coreconverter.exe -infile="c:\\0094636362755_01_001_wm9_lossless_full.wma" -outfile="c:\\output.mp3" -convert_to="mp3 (Lame)" -V 2'

If you have any idea i can do some test

The trial will activate on a User account basis, so if the coreconverter.exe is run in an effective different account than the dbpoweramp Configuration (shown after install) the trial will not be active.

I change the install, and use the good account and it's better ! but i've and error (the last ??).

with this command

space beetween "mp3" and "(Lame)" is a problem i think.
Can i encode this character ? have you a tips to bypass it ?

i suppose it is just a problem between bash and dos during sending command to VM (encoding character problem)

It's not a dbpoweramp probleme.
