Batch ripping with USB CD drives?

Are there any problems with connecting 4 or more USB CD drives to a PC and using batch ripper?

If this is fine to do are there any recommendations on PC or drive spec to get the best out of this setup?

Will batch ripper work with a mix of internal CD drives and USB drives?

It is possible you will hit a USB speed limit with this, depending on the chipset, I tested years ago and it seemed all usb channels went through a common path and was limited, and the CD drive did not like this limit (was creating ripping errors).

e-Sata is much better
