I'm down to my last SATA IDE drive and am wondering if I could double my efforts using an external USB drive instead.
I recall many years ago there were limitations, possibly around error correction with using a USB drive? Is this still the case? Have I made it up?

Storage device seen in Windows Explorer, but not by dbPowerAmp or PerfectTunes

For example, if I plug in my phone to the Windows 10 computer via USB, I can get it to show up in the Windows Explorer file manager, but it doesn't show up in the PerfectTUNES Add Folder dialog. -

If this is fine to do are there any recommendations on PC or drive spec to get the best out of this setup?
Will batch ripper work with a mix of internal CD drives and USB drives?... -
