StudioPro and DualPro should be restored now. Both downloads had become corrupted and would not display at all.

I would appreciate anyone's input (back to this thread) to verify that these skins display upon installing.

I don't think the problem is fixed. I uninstalled Studio Pro (which I had downloaded from the new skin site and which would not display-save for the tray control-until I adjusted the X- and Y- values), deleted it from the registry, and installed the updated Skin file. It does not display. The X- and Y- values for the main are still all f'ed up (ffffff7f for the X- value and fffffe89 for the Y- value).
My original download was from the new Skin Site (which is still gestating) while my "new" download was from the current Skin Site. If this makes a difference, please let me know (otherwise, I'll adjust the X- and Y- values by hand).
BTW-I do like the new touches on this skin very much, and I do think that "help" file for this skin is very well done also.

I appreciate your help in this matter. And all user's input. This is very frustrating. I'll be working to resolve this problem today. The skin is now listed as being under test conditions from the download page and will remain in this state until its fixed.

[All testing/updates will be done from Spoon's Skin Site until problem is solved].

Have found several skin windows within with "X" "Y" coordinates trashed. Am trying to repair.

The other thing you might do is provide an instruction in the Help folder and/or the download site to help users change the X- Y- values to something reasonable. I found that using and X value of 246 and a Y value of 135 will work to get the screen in the window (from where I can move it with ease to a more central spot) and (important) easy to remember. Once it is fixed it does stay fixed (until/unless something happens requiring a reinstall), which a complete newbie might not appreciate.

I have thought about doing that,...but I'd rather have a good file instead. Nobody should have to go into the registry to make this work. Especially a novice user. I'm going to rebuild the skin from scratch (now). Will access the situation after this take.

ok i finally got around to changing my dbpoweramp options to show system tray. i loaded studio pro and the sytem tray works fine for me. i am running XP pro.

I am a bit confused. I had no problems with the system tray display with SudioPro, only with the main skins (which would not show up until I adjusted the X- and Y- values for the main skin). I uninstalled the StudioPro skin, deleted it from the registry, and deleted both of the downloads (the original one from the Sensory Fusion site and the other from the Current Illustrate Skins site) and I dowloaded, installed and tried your Razgo test skin. I see the tray control (which was not a problem with either of the prior versions for me) but not only don't I see the main skin, I don't see it in the registery either.
Does the Razgotest skin only feature the tray control?

(sounds of more uninstalling, downloading, reinstalling and adjusting)

Razgo,

Just go one more folder deeper in your registry (StudioPro subfolders) and examine the "X" "Y" (and/or "RX" "RY") values of each folder. That's where the problem lies. It might be a good idea to pull the skin until we can get a good file out there.

I've been rebuilding the skin from scratch today since the Skin Designer hasn't been able to correct the problem by creating new installs.

Man,...I forgot how much work goes into a skin. Another few hours yet.

So none of your registry StudioPro subfolders have any screwed up values for "X" "Y" like the ones everyone else is finding? Not just the MainAmp folder.
(Some folders actually have valid values).

Mine: "X" = 0xffffff0f (4294967055) "Y" = 0xfffffe76 (4294966902) or equivalent in three to four subfolders...(i.e., the first two blank subfolders from your screenshot...the ones that aren't opened).

Xoas' report is accurate of what I've been seeing since clearing the slate of any remnants of the skin.
Donny's post earlier in this thread made a lot of sense in that your registry is retaining the coordinates of the original precorrupted download.
Reloading the skin into the Skin Designer and pressing the "Create Skin Install" button simply has NOT worked!
