dbpoweramp audio player is very professional but i have two important questions about (sorry for my english, i dont speak very well this language in deep way):
1 - I'm a "winamp 3 user" and when i started for the first time dbpoweramp audio player it has seemed to me that the sound is in some way a little different from winamp: i've noticed that the bass is a little lower than winamp, and the high frequencies are instead a little more louder. maybe there isnt this change, its only a personal illusion of my ears. i've seen also two different audio output codecs: waveout and directx. waveout is like a radio-style: lower bass and a flat sound . directx would seem that them are "the original" sound for my ears (i've selected waveout only one time, then i switched forever to directx output).
now my doubt is that also winamp (2.xx or 3.xx, i use both) now is using the "maybe new" dbpoweramp codecs (probably) included on the install package of dbpoweramp audio player. could you tell me that i'm wrong? that dbpoweramp audio player use only my pc's old codecs and there arent any change on the settings of my old codecs (like bass and high frequencies)? if yes instead, there is a method to restore all with "my" old codecs? (i dont have installed any other additional pack of dbpoweramp audio player)
2 - can dbpoweramp audio player change permanently in some way the volume (or also the volume normalization) of my mp3 songs? there is any kind of option that can this work? i hope no, because i'm an "just arrived" user of this beatiful player and i dont have many confidence with that (maybe there is some hidden option activated).
Thanks for the answers
