    Unable to install new version

I have used dBpoweramp for years. I just upgraded to the 15 reference, and am trying install it on a Win 7 64bit machine. Two problems:

    - I start the download and it suggests that the download will be 23MB, but in fact it is only 11MB (and I have done this a number of times, with the same result).

    - more importantly, when I try to install I am told that "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check .... [on whether I need an x86 or x64 version]."

It does not appear that a 64bit version is being delivered....

    Suggestions?

    Thanks.

Re: Unable to install new version

I know the upgrade conformation email has a different customer order number with a different download link.

Also, uninstall the older version before installing the new one. Version 15 is a full install of 32/64bit.

The install is 23MB, it says it is not compatible because you have only got half the install. Try to clear your internet cache, then redownload.

Thanks. It was just a download problem. No idea why -- although I have a very high speed connection, the download was extraordinarily slow. But it finally got a full 23MB file before terminating, and that worked. Thanks.
