Hello, I use ReplayGain Utility but it seems that some files have problem with ReplayGain tags. The operation is done but after I see some files' meta, they don't have ReplayGain tags inside.

Re: Cannot add ReplayGain to some files
You are saying replaygain works mostly, except for a few files where no tags are written? -
Re: Cannot add ReplayGain to some files
I think you're right. I just used Audio Info Utility to get information about all my music files. Here is the screenshot.
What can I do with those files if I want ReplayGain to work. Conversion sometimes help but I don't want to alter the audio content. :blush:Comment

Re: Cannot add ReplayGain to some files
Those files have an ID3v1 tag which cannot hold replaygain, so you need to update the ID Tags to v2.3, there is an [Update ID Tag] utility codec:
Use Batch Converter, select all you mp3 files (there is a filter option), and convert all the files which are having troubles to [Update ID Tag] and it will auto update from id3v1 to id3v2.Comment

Re: Cannot add ReplayGain to some files
Thank you, I'll try and post the result soon. Those files have an ID3v1 tag which cannot hold replaygain, so you need to update the ID Tags to v2.3, there is an [Update ID Tag] utility codec:
Use Batch Converter, select all you mp3 files (there is a filter option), and convert all the files which are having troubles to [Update ID Tag] and it will auto update from id3v1 to id3v2.
Updating tags will not affect audio content. Is it right?Comment
