A friend and I are trying to rip our CDs as lossless as possible. Therefore, we put them into .flac without any compression enabled.
Now we stumbled upon the gain settings/adjust modes in the DSP. If it was up to me, I would leave the tracks absolutly untouched...

FLAC files ripped from CD w/Replay Gain to Cowon X7 - volume too low
This is my first time dealing with lossless files. I ripped my CDs to files and then copied to my new Cowon X7. When I play the songs, the volume needs to be inordinately high for average listening. Is there something else I need to do?

Cannot add ReplayGain to some files
Hello, I use ReplayGain Utility but it seems that some files have problem with ReplayGain tags. The operation is done but after I see some files' meta, they don't have ReplayGain tags inside.
