    Re: Unable to register

You should have a file called:

    dMC-R12.3-Ref-Registered.exe

    You have run the install?

You have recieved the Swreg email and downloaded the registered version?
Yes i have already downlonloaded AND installed the program, I do not have a problem with the download, but the ID and Password is doing the same as the first time a little earlier this morning, the download just stops, I will look over things once more and get back to you. The thing whats happening is when i do to use the program it always tells me to register, but when i try and convert a file theres a error message that says i am unable because the program is not registered. I thank you for your time Spoon. ttyl and if you can think of anything while i am checking things out, send it please.

          Re: Unable to register

This is the error message that i am receiving:
Error converting to mp3 (Fraunhofer IIS), 'E:\WHB's Music 1\A1 Single Music Files\Don Blackman - Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide.mp3' to 'E:\WHB's Music 1\A1 Single Music Files\Don Blackman - Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide.mp3'
mp3 (Fraunhofer) requires a dBpoweramp Reference license to encode mp3 files.

            Re: All systems go Spoon

Come to find out that it was the Fraunhofer link update in another post that did the trick, i no longer am getting the Register window when db loads, so it was registered all the time, had i used another codec it would have became apparent to me, but i only use Fraunhofer. So i take all the things said back about the Registration process.

PS: Hurry and delete those replys in support, lol Thank you for you time Spoon.

It took a little while to find the real cause of the issues. I am sorry it was a 'bug' that was the main problem.

                Re: Unable to register

I now have Purchased 2 registrations for the reference program. I then download the program from the email link. Neither will allow the program to operate. The registration program says that it is registered but when I try to do a conversion with music converter, it says that it is not registered. I have followed all the advice so far that I can dredge up with no luck.
I am using vista , and I have given the compatibility permission on the property tab. what do you suggest....
I used the trail version and it worked great. I just can't get the registered version to show that it's registered.

                    Re: Unable to register

an error window comes up for every song that I try to convert to mp3. I have the registration for the fraunhofer mp3 and I know it used to work. But then again so did the reference program.

See this page, it might solve the issue:

There was an issue where the FhG codec was incorrectly displaying the Reference registraion page, this has now been fixed. Install this new version here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp3-fraunhofer.htm
